haha, quality
love the ad... great design, brings me back to the old dark and dingy basement arcades our generation grew up in. |
|
yeah like i said on an earlier blog this is nice travis ... good old school look to it .. makes me remember teh days when I had to stand on a step stooll to see the game
|

it's all raster either- done in p-shop, i'll vector it if they come asking for it.
the ad was for a pacman shirt, btw...boy, that '$15.00' sticks out like a sore thumb now. |

I'm getting old. I love it. I'm having flash backs of my youth. Makes me think of Dig dug when the dragons blew pixel fire at me. *sigh* 5$ and a buy!

Oh, I do love your clever title. This is one of the best gaming theme shirts I've seen on threadless. $5

I like the direction you went with the computer grafx, it's more effective and now you don't have to hear "copyright this, copyright that" |
|
thanks rob, alot of people liked the spaceship, but the idea isn't really about a spaceship game....and therefore, it was too overpowering.
all that will be lost on the average voter though. |
|
bottom side with the flames facing the center is definately possible.
i don't even think about placement so much anymore- it's one of those things that ends up being up to threadless in the end. |
|
there are some names on threadless where you can click 'id buy' before you even see the image... u r one of those people
5$ |
|
love it. Even if it isn't a representation of the arcade fire, I still like it very much. Love the shirt, love the band, even if they dont go together. I'd buy it.

does every 12 year old think we artists know who the hell arcade fire is? I DONT. I dont know your music and I dont want to.
I raised my score from 4 to 5 to help with mr. 0 pants up there |

Retrolicious!
Have you considered doing a similar design on a black T with green, vector line graphics? Or even white if you wanna go totally old school. |

I dunno if this works as a t-shirt design, but it would be hella lovely if it were printed up as a limited-edition postcard.

Inspiration was the wall decor of 80's arcades, (the word 'BLIK', which seems like the perfect video game noise or retro title), the generic panel art on refurbished machines, and nostalgic childhood memories.
Wording on the machine can be changed, the word 'BLIK' can be put there instead of 'GRAXXON' if they want.
The design is made primarily with a gold or blue shirt in mind- which will be used as the fifth color.Other color options involve green, purple or even red tees replacing the blue or yellow areas. Any of the bolder tee colors can be used, but blue or gold best represent the retro theme and color scheme.
