Another shot at a pretty design. There are two placement options, on in the lower left, and one at the top right. I think both look nice. Please comment, I am open to constructive criticism! Thanks!

I actually like it, and I'm not usually into such wistful designs. I prefer the upper right placement but I have a suggestion: I'd like the styles to match better. I'm alright with the flourish, but it seems that the notes coming from the bird are just too solid and bold. Could use a little tweaking, but I like it!

I agree with the above statement. The notes need the most work. Give them variety by changing sizes, spacing them out a little more, and rotating each one a little differently. They need to look like they are flying from the birdie's beak.

i think the bird needs the most work... the notes fit the "flourish," but the bird looks like a stolen, posterized image.

don't get me wrong-- i don't have anything agaisnt stolen work, i just don't want it to look stolen...

these were my wedding colors and we had bird's nests at place settings. i love the idea, but the design itself needs to be improved a lot. think refinement plus deconstruction.

I like the right placement. I agree that the notes need to match the flourish more. Otherwise good. $4

doesn't even look like a bird. the entire bottom half is missing. i know these things because i'm an ornithologist, and because i have eyeballs

Work on the bird.
Somehow i find the bird image is not clear enough.

But i like the flow of how the image is placed.

i think the top placeemnt looks better. it seems less noticiable when the image is on the bottom

The broken up image of the bird doesn't flow well with the smooth lines. I'm also concerned that the swirls in the background look like they were downloaded off a PS brushes site, which normally don't give out permission for people to use their work for commercial uses.

The concept is great, looking at this from afar it looks amazing, but looking at it upclose I have to agree with noodlegirl.

"doesn't even look like a bird. the entire bottom half is missing. i know these things because i'm an ornithologist, and because i have eyeballs "

Yet You could tell it was a bird and what was missing. I agree it could use some work... Swirly designs like that are easily made using the lasso tool hence why they're so abundant. I agree, work on just the bird and you'd have a great design.

"yet you could tell it was a bird and what was missing"

Well, yes, i could tell that it was SUPPOSED to be a bird, but it has no face, no breast, and no legs! It really doesn't look likea bird -- it looks like the top half of a bird.

even if it did look like a bird, it's still just a picture made with a photoshop filter, some PS brushes, and some custom shapes. It's even lamer than my own sub.

This is nicely done, though the music notes need a little work--they might work better if you found notes that were brush drawn? But good overall.

I like it a lot, but I wasn't entirely sure if it was a bird at first. I wish it was clearer.

I have a severe dislike of swirls ever since people started making Photoshop brushes of them. The idea is interesting, but the conflicting styles don't work well together.

i like it, but i wish the bird was clearer, and that the notes matched the style of the lines or the bird.
