I get the joke, and it is indeed funny, but the jelly looks like blood. Considering he was shot (albeit not in the center of the forehead)...I don't know, it just kind of gives me an icky feeling.

I love it when people complain about things like the "placement of the jelly." "Uh oh! The jelly looks like blood!" Hello? I'm sure the designer knows that and probably did it on purpose.
But what do I know? Maybe it was an accident. |

illustraTom, fuck off, eh? I wasn't complaining about the *placement* of the jelly. I was commenting that though I understand the humor, it doesn't work for me due to the immediate response I got of shot head. Threadless asks for criticism.....isn't that what we're here for? To comment as to why things do or do not work for us?

I´m getting more and more annoyed by all those uptight people commenting on stuff they find upsetting jelly, breasts ect. Just rate it down, but spare us for the comments then one day I might draw you a pony in a flowered frame. Love the shirt, I´m looking forward to the Reagan version “ I´m a hamburger” |

Yep, the placement and color were likely ON purpose, that IS why it's tasteless... unlike the VERY TASTY 'berliner' which happens to be ROUND like a typical jelly doughnut, not elongated like a phallic eclair. Details...

Everyone with the slightest knowledge of history should get this. The problem though is that the cake-thingy doesnt at all look like a berliner. If its supposed to be a berliner, then why didnt you draw a berliner? Gross shape on that thing and the text has nothing to do there. Sorry man. I dont like this at all, but i see that you have the drawing skills and the humor to make something good. So dont give up!

I love seeing german anywhere. but a Berliner isn't what is drawn. Its a round doghnut - not a cruller or jelly filled eclair. And good lord were you trying to make JFK ooze blood? Its way too "who shot JFK" eeee
