i like the simplicity of the design, and i really think it's cute - on the white t-shirt, i like the usage of the negative space on their tummies~ though, i would prefer a cream color to white (not because i don't like white, just because of the warm colors you have) - i'm not familiar with Eisley, so i can't judge it on relation ~ anyway, cuteness ^_^

ON THE QUESTION OF MONKEYS AND OWLS:

the controversy provides a great opportunity to get some deserved exposure for the little-known, but very real, owl monkey. do an image search for "owl monkey" and enjoy.

[i believe the trolleywood is home to owls, monkeys, AND owl monkeys; and the greatest portion of all of these is believed to be robotic. so, take your pick.]

Also, shove "banana fish" into google image search. First hit. Its safe and clean, and oh my, its strange.

Sorry, back on topic, dont see how it relates to the competition, but its a great design anyway.

ON WHAT THIS DESIGN HAS TO DO WITH THE EISLEY COMPETITION:

from the contest page: "The purpose is to create a design INSPIRED by the theme 'Room Noises'."

as my title indicates, this design is inspired by 'trolleywood,' one of the songs on the album 'room noises.'

in order to avoid having people tell me my design's unrelated, i should probably have gone with my original idea. it was to draw a picture of a room, and then to label the room with the word 'room,' and then to have a caption beneath the image that read, "there are noises in this room, in accordance with the contest theme, and as evidenced by the fact that i wrote 'clang' and 'whoop' all over the place."
