I don't understand the average Threadless user's taste. I think this is just completely ugly. Light blue and pink, a shiny looking bear, I mean, it's kind of clever, but I wouldn't wear this shirt if I got it for free.

The only coincidence I see is the color of the bear. The idea of a bear attacking a person is not a new one, but this design takes it further by putting a vicious spin on a previously loveable character.

The drawing style is different, the ending of the scene is different, and the identity of the bear is completely different.

haha i would love to know what kind of t-shirt graphics potatoSandWich enjoys wearing. i think this looks fantastic. super simple and clean. nice subtle shadow and not too bottom or top heavy. it seems really balanced on the shirt. the colors are perfect too. AND i like the presentation! (don't know if you remember the emo-bear shirt that was printed here, but this is much much better)

I'm not sure if it was an accident, but the colour is way too much like Gloomy Bear for my liking

If you took it further down the Care Bears route (different colours, and maybe a whole pack(?) of the carnivores around a pile of bones/skipping ropes etc) it would make it different enough to stand as its own concept.

I think the care bears reference would be better if the bear didn't look menacing. More of a juxtapose if you will. Could it be on a different color?

The future of Care Bears :D

This also makes me think they should have a Care Bear reality TV show. They'd take wild Grizzly bears, tranquilize them, bleach their hair and dye it a color, and then release them into a very open forest that actually caged in, where they will then release children into telling them the Care Bears live there.
