Rad characters. What might take this design to the next level would be a tonal line work background. Perhaps something totally ornamental...like wrought iron pattern. So good as is though. 4

Very very nice. I understand what mezo means about it looking like it could do with some background elements but I think it would be difficult bearing in mind how intricate this linework is. I personally don't think it needs it. Fab design. I too love their little legs!

Very nice!! I'd prefer the placement on the bottom. I'm not sure whether the colors which are great really come out on a dark grey t shirt. Mabe they would come out better on one of the two green colors you propose or on the "curry" one..

This is great, I'd buy it! It reminds me of a Decemberists song for some reason... The placement should be at the chest. I think that designers forget that designs placed on the lower half of the shirt look bad on 'heavier' people; the design gets distorted.

great looking characters

let me suggest that you don't use the dark grey characters
on a dark grey shirt. I bought "Beelzebub" from Threadless
and it didn't turn out well. All the dark greys just blend
into the dark grey shirt and the detail work gets lost.

Just check out the gallery to see what I'm talking about.

I wish I could suggest a shirt color that would work perfect
for your design, but I'm not sure what it would be.
