That's what they were doing at Iwo Jima; just trying to film the pilot episode of Extreme Makeover: Axis of Evil Edition. No wonder that show never got on the air...

I think dropping bombs and killing thousands of innocent people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki was kinda disrespectful too.

i think this image has way to much importance to be used like this, its a fine line to use it well. i would research it more before using it again.

this is just like shirts that say " J.C. is my homeboy "
i think the people that are offended by this are taking themselves too seriously... |
|
neonlove- if you think that attack was disrespectful why would you make a shirt using one of the most iconic images from that war?

I didn't put a picture of bombs dropping on houses... the design is obviously not in promotion of anything related to it.

thats like asking why somebody who's anti-bush or anti-anybody would make a design with his / their face on it...

Being in the military myself, i dont like this at all. That statue represents iwo jima, not rainbows. 0$

I really like this. I can't believe people are like, trying to start a controversy over it. its a nice positive, peaceful spin on a war image, and quite frankly, it makes me deeply happy.
