what do you need the ss runes for? I mean, if you`re bound to use them, it needs a strong context, otherwise it appears just like the hidden symbol placement neonazis do in their clothing... And i just take it as an assumption thats not your intention?

ok, i can see where you`re coming from, for me it still doesn`t work, but that is probably because i`m coming from a very different society, where using ss runes in a small and inconspicuous way is always related to neonazis, who want more than only shock. Nevermind, if that works the right way in the US, I mean, the rest of your design is clearly aiming at something else and well done..

its a really really fine line when your dealing with nazi metaphors.
this is the only time i've used it in my work. i would never want to marginalize teh hardships people endure because of the nazi party.
