Awesome. The blue lines could be thicker, or maybe made into neg space.

They def look too thin in the Threadless image but if you see it larger I think that they look better.

It's interesting that you point out the direction of the subjects' gaze and I think I can explain your feelings.

I use different tools, processes to make images but one thing that is stylistically consistent for me is confrontation of the viewer.

I have friends who will never have their characters look directly at the viewer. This causes the characters to look coy, playful, ashamed, sad...I would define what those friends do as an "indie rock", or passive, attitude. I feel punk and metal things when I draw. Punk and metal can be techically complex or simple but music from those genres are generally direct and confrontational.

interesting, i felt he was looking over my left shoulder. like he could see something behind me.

The title refers to the idea that there are freedom in limitations and freedom in limitations.

I imagined the lightbulb headed spacesuited man to just be a suit for this abstract being. The suit appears slight and weak but the gaseous being that inhabits it is imposing and satisfied with its' own being.
