Left and Right match the person wearing it.... The swirly side will be on the person who is wearing it's right, and the mechanics on their left.
This way flowed better, so i chose to do it like this. |

I want that hoodie...if people get really worked up about the left side thing, you could thicken the lines on the left side (upside down side) to show depth...personally I don't think most people will notice, and for those that do...its an interesting conversation

Isn't "anatomical correctness" like the first thing you get right? Amazing design, but accurate details are crucial to a smart, sophisticated design. Details, details, details.

quite true really. but the design wouldn't be the same at all. then i'd have complaints about bad composition... which for me tends to be more important.... and far more noticeable.
on the other hand, one could look at this all artsy-fartsy like and say that the brain in each head represents the dominant way of thinking over powering the other in each person. ha. there's my mystical symbolic moment for the night. i must be tired. |

Bryn: I would have to say that I am very impressed with your attention to compositional detail. You are right in that the heaviness of the "left brain" is necessary to visually balance the composition. In addition, the directional movement of the mechanical gears would really throw off the whole design if placed at the top. So, the question is: Art or science? In this case, art won out! Good job. By the way, I want a hoodie.

it's three colours by the way... the head is white (along with the lines connecting the gears). The skull and gears are a light grey, and then the blue obviously..

have they actually done any regular submissions with extra process print stuff. I don't think so yet? It'd be cool to see... allowing the use of it doesn't mean they'll actually print it.

The artistic side of my brain loves what you have done to death, but the other side feels a few improvements to both sides to make them both more creative/analytical would improve what is already a fantastic design. 4$

I dunno. The right side doesn't look as cool as the left. The left has a bunch of cool gears and gogs and such and the Right only has a few swishes.

Definitely a creative idea. I feel the design is defined by the reversed position of the skulls and would be destroyed by any anatomical correctness. I find the imperfection quite pleasing, not irritating. I do wish there was a little bit more artwork in the creative side of the brain though.

I like the fact that there is not a whole lot of "wispyness" in the right brain, if that was added, it risks being too 'busy' or symmetrical.

very nice! good composition, nice play on Right and left brained. Excellent detail and atomical correctness, (to the untrained eye) Great original idea to mirror and flip causing the right and left to be connected. Amazing for a hoody, but also great in T-shirt form.
