Discharge Ink for a soft, vintage print.

Imprint Color will be natural cotton, works on any dark colored shirts

Interpret as you wish, this is not intended to offend anyone.

with or without text...

contrary to popular belief boobs are found under a womans shirt. I will give you a good score for your effort though
hanzabean
hanzabean on Dec 07 '07
I kind of thought it was a sort of "precurser to flashing" type thing. Though, light bulbs might be more convenient than boobs in some cases.

Anyway, I sorta like the line style, and the color you used looks nice on brown. or black, if that's what it is.

I like it!

I think the text needs to go -

and it needs another dimension - perhaps a pattern texture behind her - maybe even a mid layer with shining beams of god -

thanks guys. i always appreciate comments.

i will say though: this is not intended to be realistic, and I'm pretty sure if I showed her flashing her breasts I would be dragged and hanged from the threadless gallows

looks already good on the hoodie

and: i donīt know what should be wrong with flashing breasts?
sounds good to me!
hershel
hershel on Dec 09 '07
correct myself: looks pretty neat on the hoodie, but i think i would like it better if it would go over both sides of it,left and right.....

SoulfumeInc on Dec 09 '07
^I thought about that. I dont know what threadless' restrictions are on printing over zippers, but ideally I would like to have it large down the middle front of a hoodie.

thanks for the suggestions everyone, these are all doable changes

I like the text, although I'm not entirely sure I get it.

I'd like to see it on dark purple though. But that's just me having too many black tees!
SoulfumeInc
SoulfumeInc on Dec 11 '07
^ thanks! i hear you. i have a ton of black tees too.

the cool thing about discharge ink, is you can apply it to any dark colored shirt and you get generally the same effect. this design would work on any dark colored shirt

a really cool patern behind it would be really cool. but i think it should be printed anyway.

Ooo, I really like this, but it seems to be missing something. I'm not sure what. Maybe another dimension or something. Really, really awesome work though.

thanks for the comments guys. i love the input. ive gotten a lot of comments requesting another dimension to the design. i will definitely employ this when using this style again.

Its a cool design but I'd tend to agree with Isaboa re: text and depth also I like the design off centre.

If you print this please do so on a colour other than black though.

^i hear ya. i know a lot of people arent too fond of black. since it uses discharge ink, it will work on any dark colored shirt..

i dunno about losing the text completely. maybe changing the word.
'enhance' isn't the word that comes to mind when i see your image. maybe 'reveal' [she's somewhat revealing the light] or 'emerge' [allowing the light to shine out/emerge]. just my thoughts. :-)
great illustration!
