Thanks guys. I felt a little discouraged looking at everything else in the contest, but do we really have to get all elaborate? I dunno, but it's always the simple, cartoonish designs that catch my eye the most.

I really love the colors in this design.

i would prefer without the stars and maybe on a different color... there's something about the shirt color that seems off. darker blue maybe? either way i would probably buy it.

Wow, I'm sorry I missed voting on this one. I love the sad subject matter in contrast with the cartoony style. There's something kind of heartbreaking about this design. You're so talented!

Awww, a 1.88 out of 5? That's a little disappointing. But thanks for the comments guys! I actually got the inspiration from Saikano, my all-time favorite manga series. (Wiki it for more info, or actually go out and read it. It's very bittersweet) In it, there are these two people in love, but there's a war going on that threatens to destroy the world. Anyway, that's what immediately sprung to mind when I saw the theme for the contest.
