Personally I think this one is WAY better than the Tom Burn's one. Kind of reminds me of the Eclipse! one

Tom Burns design was pointed out to me while I had this up in critiques. I was not aware of Toms design before I started working on this design. I put a lot of hard work and time into this design and am proud of the finished product. I respect Tom as a great designer and would not rip off any of his work or any other designer for that matter. Although both designs are inspired by the same adage, I believe they are going in very different directions.

Maybe this is just me, but I had no idea he was a snowball until I saw the title (I thought he was the moon, so I was way off). A couple of tiny snowflakes around the dude would help out other confused people (if they exist, this could just be me because I am way, way tired right now).

Cartooner, this is a completely different concept regarding the same million year old phrase "not a snowball's chance in hell." The only thing similiar of the two designs is that. Tom Burns's design (which i love and own) has to do with the snowball about to die and be obliterated by the devil's heat with the funniest shit-eating happy grin i've ever seen, hence the irony of the piece. OOH_OOH's take is all about the snowball overcoming its enemies and triumphing over the old phrase, sorta Lord of the Rings style. Love this and would also add this to my collection alongside the Tom Burns design. 4$

OOH_OOH I think it looks great and the extra high lights and halftone really look awesome.

I only pointed out the tom burn design so you would be prepair for compairasons. I think yours stands alone on its own merit!

Edword...I am very glad that you made me aware of Toms design. As fast as submissions go up here on Threadless (not to mention the hundreds of other shirt sites), it's hard to imagine that there are any new ideas or concepts left to be tackled. When I have an idea for a design, I try to research the intrawebs to figure out whether or not "it's been done". Toms design never came up I guess because there was no mention of snowball or hell in the title.

A snowball does have a chance in hell!!! I need to tell my dad!!!

I do like it, now that I "get" it. I would make him smoother though, because otherwise it looks like he has dimples, hence the golf ball similarity.

I think the snowball looks a little golf ball-like. I agree with mjoo about putting something subtle in there just to make it clear.

actually he looks a bit like a golfball, but this is so well done.

i dunno if anyone ripped off anyone else, but that tom guy's snowball looks optimistic yet he doesn't look like he's gonna make it, giving that design an overall sheepish feel.

in this one the snowball is powerful, he came, he saw, he conquered. oh yeah.
