I love Mao with the Groucho glasses, but the LMAO has been way overdone. I will admit, though, that yours is probably the best rendering of the concept.

lighten up - the graphic difference between japanese and chinese characters is a pretty esoteric thing for westerners. this is about fun and cheeky t-shirt design, not a forum for linguistics and/or compulsive political correctness....

anyway, my opinion: not as funny as communist party, but a much better graphic

I'm Asian, and I Love it. Love the word play on LMAO and Marx. I admit, I'd be scared to wear this in China though! Its one thing to wear an Western appropriation of Mao, quite another to wear a Western appropriation of Mao wearing a Groucho Marx gettup- even if Marx is a play on Karl Marx- the author of the Communist Mannifesto. Was that intentional?
