Life's firsts!

I wonder why most people get their first tribute only when they're already dead. Worse, some even don't get it for the rest of their lives.

I really like your idea but viewed from further away you just can't tell what the design is, it just looks like a nice abstract image. I'd personally like to see them a better seperated so it's more obvious what they are and perhaps different looking 'awards' for different things.

It's too rectangular and I don't really get it, so all your first experiences were swirls of pointlessness?

i think at least one of them should be more bizzare
and title it "first tribute"

I want to like it (I always like to see Art Nouveau) but it comes out as just a gray rectangle when you look at the shirt. Try some variation and/or colors.

I love the simplicity and the subtle life references. It's a sweet design. What is sad is that, sure, the design is a rectangle....but the human torso is not. The graphic will not be so abrupt once you wear it.

Nice shoes.

Oh and nice way of giving the appearence of a gradient from far-off, pretty classy.

Yeah I like the idea... it's just too blocky a design

Even when i don't particularly care for your designs, i still am impressed that you always find a new way to present your styles from the millions that have been attempted before you. I wish each "first" rectangle had a different design in it, representing what those firsts look like inside of your mind and giving them some individual personality. But then that would mess up the far-away wall pattern-ish illusion you are going for. Not my thing, but nice work nonetheless.

i like the idea of firsts, but not the designs.

it needs a different shape, the lines won't fall correctly on someone's body.
very cool, tho.

way back, I noticed that people on threadless have an allergy on one-big-rectangle designs. But when I saw this design winning as a 12 club tee, I was encouraged to submit it despite the "rectangularness". (reason for "printed in silver metallic..")

But yeah, nonetheless, Manos' is a much much better design.

Perhaps I would have to add a swirly thing at the bottom. j/k.

i like it. but maybe like a picture or clip art instead of that design. make it pop more. and maybe the writing should be a bit more scribled. make it like a scrapbook.

but i LOVE the concept!
