I think it's perfect this way, keep the speech bubble. Without it, the shirt would lose the pop!, the rhythm. It would be just another one of somewhat clever slogan tees.

'Vegetables don't like you either" is somewhat cool, calm, arms-crossed-on-chest with an unhappy face kind of attitude, but then this little carrot cannot hold itself and yells and swears in BIG characters. That's what makes the whole design cute in my opinion.

Because that's the order you read it. The first sentence is above AND dark-on-light-background, so that's the one an observer reads first. Then comes the swearing. Even though this process is not overly conscious, that's the order. And that's the reason the design works very well.

Keep the bubble, I say. And I love them both, green and brown.

if you keep the speech bubble, it should be above "vegetables don't like you either" so people read that first!

Did anyone mention without the extra bubble text yet? O, everyone did. Good. I won't mention it then. but seruiously, knock that bubble text off this shirt and i might consider buying this. It's a whole new concept to contemplate once the other text has been eliminated, so i will reserve that judgement for the next go-round of this design.

On green please and maybe the cranky carrot is enough and the speech bubble not so much.
