So my bro has been included by a couple of his friends in this random and hastily planned trip to Argentina at the end of July, and so basically I was just wondering if anyone had any Argentine experiences or advice they might want to lend to 3 young Americans, since they have absolutely no plan and no Spanish...

Thanks!
Any day now...

Oh, and um, when it does, you should totally go say hi and give it a $5 and stuff? Y'know, so it doesn't eat your face or fly off with your elephants and stuff?

Yay, thanks! :)

Thank you, everyone!
Thank you, Threadless!

I'd been wanting to a design with a deep sea diver for ages, just 'cause I can't seem to get over their oppressively cool helmets :)
This tee is the result of that compulsion coupled with some inspiration from a very cool song, Sea Ghost, by The Unicorns.

It looks like Threadless did a beautiful job printing this and I can't wait to see their handywork in person.

Thanks again to Threadless and everyone who voted for me!!! Keep it up :)

Just curious... I've been using a Oyster Card holder as a wallet for the past year and the other day it pretty much exploded out of spite, used and abused as it was and so far from Bayswater Station...

In any case, I figured TinyMeat would provide me with a suitable replacement, so I ordered one on Sunday, but I'm not sure if it will get here before I leave for I go out of town on Saturday, in which case I've got some duct-tape to locate...
BAM! Sexy aint it?

This blog is in honor of my friend's hamster who was euthanized this morning. She named the hamster 'Valtrex'. I tell you this to remind you, when it comes to naming animals, always reach for the stars.

I mean, why let race horses get all the strangest/coolest names?

I was going to post a link to the "Poor Hamster" song here, but it just doesn't quite seem appropriate. Instead, why don't you tell me the coolest friggin' pet/domesticated animal names you've ever heard of in your young lives.

I'll start things off with a few friends of mine named S.C.S.I. (Small Computer System Interface, aka "Scuzzy") the chihuahua, Spanky (a great old of mine), Obie (another old dog of mine), Dagwood (my buddy's dog), and Theodore (my future crawdad).

My dog now is named Winston, which is obviously not especially unique, but his middle name on his American Kennel Club papers is D.B., which stands, affectionately, for "Drain Bramage." Years after we named him, my father would begin calling him "Jimmy Dog" and "Mr. Jimmy" for no imaginable reason...

Anyway, have at it! I want to hear all the coolest names!

I went to wash up this evening and discovered, to my everlasting horror, a fucking tick on my arm.

It took me 20 minutes of get the damn thing off. Eventually I effectively had to 'cut' him out. I was pulling on him with some tweezers, as per the internet's advice, but he remained steadfastly affixed via a tenuously thin piece of skin or 'cement', so I resigned myself to cutting the entire little bit off with some tiny scissors.

Here's hoping I don't have Lyme Disease!

GAH!!!

EDIT: I found another one :(
