come here when conformity crowds me.
When life labours along at a snails pace.
I come here, where i am free
to sit and think amoung the dazzling colours
and the serene blackness.
Colour is my Paradox; These colours are my Paradise.
Here i can throw colour around;
onto the stiff, blanched white canvases,
or onto the off-white peeling walls.
The floor, no longer floor-coloured,
sops heavy with liquid colour,
fueling my desire for an eternity in this colourful creation.
The pots line the windows;
streaks of colour dribbling down,
from the sleek shine of a freshly spilled Scarlet,
I broke these colours.
