you mentioned cortazar before. try david foster wallace's Infinite Jest. He writes like a tin man on methamphetamines, all genius and no heart and absolutely no pauses and a thousand goddamn pages of it. It's harder to read than Gravity's Rainbow because that book had beautiful moments and it's harder than Ulysses because I can understand it if I try.

Seriously, Infinite Jest is wonderful and sadistic and altogether a terrible book that's written better than almost anything else I can name.

The first piece (Crop Circles 1) reminds me of the mock-ups I did back in the day when I was programming 8-bit computer graphics.....except this is a thousand times more awesome.

That first image (on graph paper) is now my Windoze desktop wallpaper (when's the last time you wallpapered a desktop, anybody? In meatspace, that is).

I should have made it connect to itself, then, so it could be tiled. I'm glad you like it enough to use it as wallpaper. I spend an awful lot of time on constructing these things in ways that don't show I can't draw.
