Literary Genius

about Nothing Rhymes With Orange

This shirt also made me cry and laugh. It's amazing, though... a lot of people didn't get it when i wore it around the first time. Actually, only 3 people understood. A vast majority of morons thought that the idea behind it had to do with the fruit having teeth.

...Why WERE they drawn with teeth?

I got more attention for this shirt than for any other Threadless shirt I've worn. But no one figured it out without a hint or two.

Most didn't get it when I wore mine either. One person got it except got stuck on the grape/escape fruit because he thought it was a lime.

Yeah, the title makes the shirt way easier to get, but I think "apple" and "chapel" sort of clears it all up. I'm making this my first Threadless tee :)

it's definitely my first threadless tee ever.
most people had the problem by not looking at the whole picture, reading the words as if in a sentence, then looking at me like i'm crazy because clearly, "Fairy care chapel montana escape," makes ALL the sense in the world to me.

and i'm in honors classes at school. -_-'

Ha! That's exactly it -- they were trying to make a sentence out of it with mine too. And then I'd say "OK, what kind of fruit is this that's saying 'fairy'? And now what is saying 'pear'?" And then after a while they would say "OHHHHH! I get it now!" Sigh.

I love the fact that they have teeth. Their faces made me buy it. But yeah, I got it when i saw it, but perhaps the title gave it up.

:(

I don't like the cherry Fairy one. Maybe its just how I saw cherry, or how I saw fairy. I say cherry as in "ferry".
