My self portraits have been less than creative lately.
I need some challenges to do this week.
So, if you are so inclined write them here & I will see what come up with.

Set your camera to timer, and then throw the camera up in the air...keep doing this until you get a self-portrait. Be sure to catch it. You also probably want to throw relatively the same height every time and set the focus.

redline: that whole camera tossing thing is crazy and awesome, but i just don't think i'm comfortable throwing my camera. i've seen some cool photos taken that way, but...

redline: My hand eye coordination is not even close to being good enough to pull something like that without my camera being smashed on the floor!! But it sounds cool, Imma have to look some of those images up :)

Deb: I tired a mirror thing...it didn't work out all that well. But...I will revisit your suggestion soon :D

I've never tried it. I've always wanted to do it. Actually, I wanted to invent a front weight on the camera so you always get a decent shot if you toss it right...
