I'm just confused why they used the regency film tag before their lil baggage showcase.

As for people rummaging through your bags, if it happens, it happens....what can we do about it? I've luckily never had anything lost or stolen, but a friend recently had a bunch of DVDs and both of his cd cases that hold like 50 cds each taken from his bag after he picked it up from the baggage conveyer belt! It sucks even more because who the hell listens to CDs anymore but him?

no, i think the regency thing only to make an interesting opening (gimmic). For me the important part of this is how they always do it to our laggage, open it & close it back without any trace.

FA, I feel sorry about your freind! i think we need to have alternative way to make our laggage more safe! maybe! :D

squeegebeckenheim, i never knew that! i flew to a few place/country before this and always locked my luggages.

I've never locked my luggage, just tied the zips together so stuff didn't fall out...

Why would you not keep your camera on you, that's what's beyond me...

If you lock your luggage on flights out of the UK, they often bust it open - their methods are not as delicate as those used in the video.

We're told if you fly to the USA, they will simply break your locks off if you lock your lugage. But I flew to Europe with my luggage locked. The important thing is to invest in some numbered luggage tags so you can tell if your bag has been opened (well, if they do use the zippers properly anyway.)

Theft is a scary thing, but even scarier is the potential for someone to plant something in your luggage, especially if you're headed for a country with really strict drug smuggling laws like a lot round here are. A girl got caught in Bali with a bodyboard bag full of marijuana. No one really believes her but she's always claimed it was put in there by corrupt baggage handlers.
