I know I don't share much 'life' stuff. But, my 5-a-side team I just won a game and I'm made up.

I play with a load of mates and we got promoted to the top division last season when we really didn't deserve to. We lost about 5 games in a row, got really battered in one of them and we were all getting a bit down and pissed off at each other. Last week our goalkeeper and our best striker (my housemate) decided they didn't want to play any more, which was disappointing because we're short on players and one of them is a really good mate. But we'd basically forgotten about it just being a load of mates having fun and it had got to be a chore. Anyways we decided to just start playing for each other, having fun, enjoying the football and taking criticism better. I went in goal tonight as no one else wanted to (plus I've injured my hamstring and managed to stand on a nail yesterday) None of us expected much from the top division games, but we won 8-5 and the positive vibes abounded.

Anyways, I'm not really in to 'Moral' stories, but if there is one to this, it's the following: "Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes."

Hi, I have been greatly enjoying looking through Lehel's flickr photostream. Particularly the set where he does a simple but cool typo/illustration of a yahoo headline.
